MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a collaborative clinical environment. The provider will work with a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and disposition planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions.
- Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic testing.
- Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
- Support chronic condition management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being.
- Handle patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Complete administrative responsibilities such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly clinical environment.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care.
- Current NP license in the state of employment and National Board Certification.
- Master's Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program .
- Ability to practice autonomously and work effectively without direct supervision.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.
- Proficiency with information management and technology.
- Willingness to obtain additional multi-state licenses as needed.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
Shifts may vary and include:
- Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, or 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Possible holiday rotations
- Training: 40 hours/week for 3 weeks
