Position: Family Nurse Practitioner
Setting: MinuteClinic In-Person, Patient-Facing
Schedule: 35 hours/week after training
Training: 40 hours/week for 4 weeks
Weekend: Every other weekend (EOE)

Join a collaborative MinuteClinic care team as a Family Nurse Practitioner and provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients in the Bloomington community. This role includes comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and care coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide evidence-based primary and family care.
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions.
Perform routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.
Provide chronic disease management, health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness services.
Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.
Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.
Complete administrative duties, including clinic opening/closing, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care.
Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program .
Current National Board Certification.
Active Indiana NP license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.
Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.
Proficiency with information management and technology.
Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
Training:
4 weeks
40 hours/week
After Training:
35 hours/week
Includes every other weekend
Possible holiday rotations
Position may require participation in an on-call rotation . If applicable, the candidate's on-call participation must be noted at submission.
