Family Practice Physician
A respected outpatient setting in scenic Taos, New Mexico, seeks a dedicated Family Practice Provider to join its collaborative care team. This is a full-time, weekday position offering a steady schedule, strong support staff, and a diverse patient population that includes children and seniors.
Position Details:
- Deliver preventative, acute, and chronic care to patients of all ages
- Conduct routine physical exams, screenings, and wellness checks
- Manage common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
- Coordinate care with specialists, behavioral health, and other team members
- Provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and team-based care initiatives
- Monday–Friday schedule
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Active (or eligible) New Mexico license
- Experience in outpatient family medicine preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to whole-person care
