Practice Info

  • Work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients.
  • The patient population is an adult panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents, customizable for interest areas.
  • Seniors have the convenience of new Lifestyle Centers.
  • Work in attractive/modern buildings and enjoy an electronic medical record environment.
  • Full-time management staff, digital radiology, and onsite laboratory services are available at 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area.
  • This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical, offering patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own panel of patients.
  • Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
  • Work with professionalism, demonstrating a commitment to professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care.
  • Effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal value.

Compensation

  • $100,000 Sign On Bonus for external candidates.

  • The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment.

Shift & Schedule

  • Monday-Friday.

Requirements

  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible.
  • Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license.
  • Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals.
  • Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice.
  • Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care.
