We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Family Practice for a 120-day assignment in Louisiana. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday mornings, focusing on comprehensive outpatient primary care. Providers will manage chronic conditions, preventative services, and acute care concerns in a supportive clinic environment.
Practice Info
- Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
- Patient volume: Maximum 16 patients per day with 30-minute appointments
- Staffing Mix: Solo role supported by two LPNs, who assist with early morning lab work
- EMR: RPMS
Shift & Schedule
- 120-day assignment
- Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, with a lunch break from 12-1pm
- Shorter Friday shift from 9am to 12pm
- No Call requirements
- LOA: 120 Days
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services.
- Deliver preventative care to patients.
- Manage chronic care conditions.
- Conduct sports physicals.
- Treat various infections.
- Address simple acute care concerns, referring urgent care level cases as needed.
- Handle patient referrals.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests.
