Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

We are seeking a full time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Wound Care team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Candidates must have flexibility to work weekends

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities

Wound & Lymphology of Texas is a small practice dedicated to the care of patients with chronic wounds and lymphatic disorders. The practice is searching a full time and a part time nurse practitioner to work at different facilities in the Texas Medical Center mainly on the In-patient side with a potential for future clinic work.
