Optum NV is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This role offers the opportunity to work in a clinician-led organization with extensive clinical resources and support. Practice Info

• Work with other physicians in teams
• Manage your own panel of patients
• Patient population includes adults of all ages, geriatrics, and some older adolescents, customizable for interest areas

• Work in attractive/modern buildings with an electronic medical record environment
• Full-time management staff, digital radiology, and onsite laboratory services at 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area

Compensation

• $100,000 Sign On Bonus for external candidates
• Attractive base salary

• The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment

Requirements

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained
• Board certified or board eligible
• Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license
• Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
• Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
• Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice
• Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care
