Family Health Centers at NYU Langone is a Level 3 Medical Home and the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State. With eight primary care sites, 40 school‑based health centers, dental clinics, day care centers, a large dental residency program, behavioral health services, community medicine sites, HIV services, chemical dependency programs, and a family support center, the network serves diverse, underserved communities.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Family Partner (Family Worker) to strengthen and support family child care providers in the Sunset Park Family Child Care Network. The role focuses on building relationships with families and affiliated providers, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, and providing support and monitoring aligned with state regulations and the Early Childhood Framework for Quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Visit affiliated provider homes monthly using the DOE monitoring form to ensure compliance with OCFS/DOHMH regulations.
- Conduct follow‑up monitoring visits with strength‑based coaching and corrective actions as necessary.
- Document all visits and communications with affiliated providers in a timely manner and align with the Early Childhood Framework for Quality.
- Provide support and monitoring for providers participating in CACFP.
- Monitor the OCFS website to stay informed about license and registration requirements and prevent violations.
- Assist the Network Director with recruitment and affiliation of family child care providers.
- Support the Network team in creating and updating a Community Partner Resource Guide and coordinating workshops, special events, and other Network activities.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss provider and family needs and coordinate services.
- Attend Network staff professional learning sessions delivered by the Department of Education.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Program Leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree or Child Development Associate credential; experience working with families and young children.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in family child care and/or with infants and toddlers.
- Willingness to travel within the FCC Network catchment area.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- A team player who appreciates the unique needs of all providers and families.
- Knowledge of the Sunset Park community.

Salary
Salary range: $35,129.60 – $45,000.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and other factors. The listed range does not include bonuses, differential pay, or other compensation.
