Family Nurse Practitioner – Tallahassee, FL

KidsStreet Urgent Care is hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide patient‑focused care in a fast‑paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

You will provide comprehensive care for all ages, utilizing the full scope of practice.

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing, and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• Reviewing x‑rays for over‑read by radiologist
• General dermatology, eye problems, EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Schedule

Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Work a rotating schedule with alternating weekends:

• Week 1 – on: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; off: Wed, Thu, Fri
• Week 2 – on: Wed, Thu, Fri; off: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required; new graduates welcome
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (cost covered)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite
