Functional Medicine Family Nurse Practitioner – Hope for Healing
Hope for Healing is seeking a Functional Medicine Family Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care and functional medicine services to patients of all ages. This role focuses on identifying root causes of illness and using a comprehensive approach to optimize patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform annual and routine physical exams
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and manage treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Provide functional medicine treatment recommendations
- Educate patients and families on health and prevention
- Refer patients to specialists when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing
- Active Texas APRN License
- Prescriptive Authority Eligibility
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- IFMCP Certification (completed or in progress) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
