Responsibilities
- Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for telemedicine and in-patient care as determined.
- Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
- Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in alignment with company values.
- Meet patient volume goals targeted for telemedicine and in-patient care as determined.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians.
- Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with patient-centric focus, safety, cost, and accuracy of information.
- Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with department expectations and Federal/State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management considerations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-patient clinic and virtual settings.
- Pursue a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
- Attest to and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training.
- Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
- Complete mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed continued quality of care expectations.

- Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care within the clinic and telehealth programs.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes.
- Assist new employees with learning activities and required training; support job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching opportunities.
- Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere and relationships with customers, co-workers, and managers.
- Maintain the physical, cognitive, and environmental capabilities required for the position as described in the physical demands.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with company standards of operations and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Preferred experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full-time employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Additional Requirements
- On-call responsibilities may apply periodically throughout the year.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER/trauma, or family practice) is strongly preferred.
Current License or Certification:
- Active, in good standing licenses and verifications with the appropriate regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; where limited by years of practice, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting minimum practice years under state law.
- Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements; DOT certification must be obtained by FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment.
Education & Licensure
Master’s Degree in Nursing; License: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license as applicable.
