Responsibilities

  • PRIMARY
  • Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff (X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in behaviors, actions, and attitude, providing guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns to adhere to company values.
  • Meet patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient as determined.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis, building and maintaining confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to safety, cost, and reliable accuracy.
  • Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Prioritize telehealth patient queue to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on ongoing treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attest and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality standards.
  • Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and process overviews.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Support new employee training with job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching opportunities.
  • Build confidence and maintain credibility with all employees.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified in physical demands.
  • Be knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operations.
  • Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Have proven experience working as a telehealth clinician.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
  • Full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.

  • Responsible for on‑call periodically throughout the year.

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Level 1: New grad with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Level 2: 1–5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Level 3: 5–10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Level 4: Over 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

Experience Requirements and Preferences

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • Experience: At least 1‑2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, or family medical practice.
  • Current License or Certification:
  • License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; where limited by years of practice under state law, it must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years of practice.
  • Providers must treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements; DOT certification must be obtained within 120 days of employment for full‑time and part‑time providers.

Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).

License Requirements

Family Nurse Practitioner License, Physician Assistant License.
