About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Ann Arbor.

This is an on-site clinical position providing a mix of primary care and urgent/same-day care for patients across a broad range of ages and healthcare needs.

You will have the opportunity to evaluate and treat a variety of conditions while developing ongoing relationships with patients and families in the community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting for primary care and urgent/same-day visits
  • Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic medical conditions
  • Order, review, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
  • Provide clear, compassionate communication and involve patients in healthcare decisions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Follow HELLOMED clinical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement and practice-development initiatives
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive team environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current, unrestricted Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Appropriate national certification
  • Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program
  • Completion of required clinical training
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
  • Ability to independently evaluate and manage common primary and urgent care conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
  • Ability to work comfortably in a busy outpatient environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in family practice, primary care, urgent care, or another outpatient setting
  • Experience caring for patients across different age groups
  • BLS certification; ACLS certification is a plus
  • Experience managing chronic conditions and preventive healthcare
  • Experience with same-day/urgent care evaluation and treatment

Compensation

Guaranteed Base Pay, paid bi-weekly per HELLOMED's standard payroll schedule. Patient-Volume Incentive Program: Earn more for every hour worked on high-volume clinic days
