Responsibilities

• Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
• Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (X‑ray technicians, nurses, front‑office specialists) to deliver excellent patient care.
• Perform responsibilities included in the SCRIBE job description.
• Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
• Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses to provide guidance and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevating to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolve concerns, aligning with company values.
• Meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
• Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
• Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
• Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
• Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information.
• Ensure provider activities comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements including HIPAA.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within clinic and virtual settings.
• Pursue a queue of telehealth patients timely to ensure proper follow‑up.
• Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued care of acute and chronic conditions.
• Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
• Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols.
• Complete all mandatory compliance training to exceed quality standards.

• Recommend ideas within clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
• Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
• Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes.
• Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
• Support new employee training by providing job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.
• Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
• Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees, ensuring a positive work atmosphere.
• Perform the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position as specified on the physical demands.
• Be knowledgeable and comply with company standards of operations.
• Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and the business.
• Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
• Have proven experience as a telehealth clinician.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month.
• Full‑time employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities for Ancillary Providers

• Responsible for on‑call periods throughout the year.

Additional Requirements and Responsibilities

• Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner.
• Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year but less than 5 years of experience.
• Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years but less than 10 years of experience.
• Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience.

Experience Requirements and Preferences

Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN)

Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice—urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, family medical practice is strongly preferred.

Current License or Certification

• License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by years of practice under state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting the minimum years.
• Providers must treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements; DOT certification is required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment, and must be maintained.

Education Requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing. License Requirements: Family Nurse Practitioner License.
