Join a team where you can make a real difference in the lives of patients and families. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), you’ll have the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan while building meaningful relationships with the people you serve.

In this role, you’ll assess and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, develop personalized care plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments. You’ll work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment, contributing your expertise to ensure every patient receives safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.

Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

• Perform age-appropriate medical histories and physical exams for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions within scope of practice.
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests based on patient age, clinical findings, and individual needs.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities per Texas regulations and facility policies.
• Provide routine primary care, preventive care, wellness visits, health screenings, and age-appropriate immunizations.
• Manage chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, asthma, COPD, and cardiovascular disease.

Patient Care Coordination & Collaboration

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical responses.
• Provide appropriate women’s and men’s health services within clinical privileges.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and care teams to coordinate care and facilitate smooth transitions across healthcare settings.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical policy initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or related advanced practice nursing field preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in Family Medicine required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or lifespan care strongly preferred.
• Recent graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Licensing, Certifications & Skills

• Current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure.
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-C or FNP-BC).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS as required by department).
• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, stress management, and EHR/computer skills (Word, Excel).
