Exciting Full‑Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Monroeville, AL .

Overview

MainStreet Family Care is expanding and seeks a fast, friendly, and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our full‑time team in urgent care, primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. This role is ideal for new graduates and experienced FNPs who thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

You and your team will care for every patient who comes through the door within your scope of practice. You may perform the following:

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
• Suturing and splinting
• Conducting general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Reviewing x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist)
• Providing general dermatology and eye care
• Interpreting EKGs and performing emergency management
• Utilizing general GYN expertise and treating children of all ages
• Handling occupational medicine cases
• Offering telemedicine services

Schedule

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend, for example:

• Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education required (new graduate friendly)
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (cost covered)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
