Northside Medical Center, PLC in Ortonville, MN is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide full-spectrum care in a rural community setting, serving patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient care across the lifespan, including preventive, acute, chronic disease management and prenatal care in coordination with Physician staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications:

For FNP Candidates:

  • Masters degree from an accredited nursing and nurse practitioner program.
  • Current RN and APNP licenses in Minnesota and must obtain South Dakota.
  • National NP certification.

For PA Candidates:

  • Graduate of an accredited PA program.
  • Current PA certification by NCCPA.
  • Licensure by the Minnesota and must obtain South Dakota Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in outpatient/ambulatory care/primary care preferred. Emergency medicine a plus but not required.
  • DEA certification or eligibility.
  • BLS, ACLS, CALS, PALS or ATLS certifications preferred (required by end of orientation).
  • DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
  • EPIC EMR experience desirable (training available).
