Role Overview
The Family Nurse Practitioner-Float provides high-quality healthcare in both clinical and virtual settings, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals.
- Lead and guide clinic staff, ensuring excellent patient service and professional standards.
- Assess patient histories, symptoms, allergies, and medications to formulate diagnoses.
- Order, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, compliance with regulations, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Engage with clinical leadership, participate in training, and support new employee onboarding.
- Maintain a positive work environment, foster teamwork, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Perform on-call duties as needed and support quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) and active license, DEA, and DOT certification.
- 1-5+ years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or similar settings is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, autonomous environments, with strong clinical judgment.
- Experience with telehealth is preferred; excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
