AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician to join their expanding Graduate Medical Education Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing program, blending clinical practice with a passion for medical education. The physician will engage in a split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical work, and administrative duties, focusing on collaboration, quality care, and patient/resident experience.

- Join a growing Graduate Medical Education Team that started in July 2025 with 8 residents per program year.
- The team includes an experienced Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and 3 Core Family Medicine Faculty, plus dedicated clinical staff.
- Physician will do roughly 70% family medicine and 30% obstetrics with opportunity for OB growth.
- AdventHealth Ocala is a 385-bed, full-service community hospital.
- The hospital has Marion County's only dedicated children's emergency room, pediatric unit, and Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
- The West Florida Division Medical Group is projected to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025, spanning eight counties and 40 specialties.
Responsibilities
- Full time, split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical, and administrative time.
- Work with Program Director on program accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development, and resident coaching.
- Serve as a member of the program evaluation committee and clinical competency committee.
- Perform additional academic and clinical duties as assigned by the program director.
- Model professionalism for residents, medical students, and clinical staff.
- Administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas.

Requirements
- BC/BE Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician.
- Desire to be part of a growing program.

- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the EPIC EMR.
- Equivalent educational qualifications may be acceptable by the FM Review Committee of the ACGME.
