Family Medicine - Sonora, CA

Job Summary

Adventist Health Sonora is actively seeking a Family Medicine physician to provide outpatient care in a network of 14 primary care practices located in Sonora and five other outlying communities. The role includes shared outpatient telephone call coverage; inpatient work is performed by the Adventist Health Sonora hospitalist team.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine, be California licensed, and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards. Spanish language proficiency is helpful but not required.

An interest in Women’s Health is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Call

Competitive incentivized compensation package includes base pay, CME, and an initial starting bonus. Wage scale: $261,347–$313,258 per year. Call coverage is 1:5 with shared outpatient telephone call responsibilities.
