- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Typical weekly schedule includes:
- Approximately 2 outpatient clinic days
- 1 resident precepting day
- Dedicated administrative time for GME education

- Average clinic volume of approximately 10-12 patients per half day

- Precepting and supervising Family Medicine residents
- Providing full-spectrum Family Medicine in an outpatient setting
- Delivering didactic lectures and educational sessions
- Developing and implementing residency curriculum
- Collaborating with core faculty on program projects
- Supporting residency program development and innovation
- Participating in resident evaluations and performance feedback
- Teaching residents evidence-based clinical decision-making
- Supervising residents in outpatient procedures
- Providing low-risk prenatal and postpartum care
- Opportunities to teach and supervise residents in inpatient adult medicine
- Opportunities to teach and supervise residents in low-risk obstetrics
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the residency program
The physician will provide comprehensive Family Medicine care in a modern outpatient clinic designed to support both patient care and resident education.

- Preventive and primary care
- Chronic disease management
- Acute care
- Women's health
- Prenatal and postpartum care
- Minor office procedures
- Resident continuity clinic supervision
- Full-spectrum Family Medicine
The practice provides opportunities for physicians and residents to perform a broad range of office-based procedures, including:
- LARC insertion and removal
- Pap smears
- Joint injections with and without ultrasound guidance
- Skin procedures
- Incision and drainage (I&D)
- Toenail removals
- Sterile vaginal examinations
- Cervical checks
The practice is located within a modern medical education and clinical facility designed specifically to support patient care, physician education, and resident training.
Facilities include:
- 23 examination rooms
- 2 procedure rooms
- 2 resident precepting rooms
- On-site laboratory
- Simulation laboratories

The practice is equipped with a variety of diagnostic and procedural technologies, including:
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Handheld ultrasound devices

- Non-stress testing (NST) equipment

- Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Must be in good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship program
- Ability and willingness to teach and supervise Family Medicine residents
- Commitment to providing comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine
- Willingness to provide low-risk prenatal and postpartum care
- Opportunities are available for physicians interested in inpatient medicine and low-risk obstetrics
- Previous experience working with residents in an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
- Prior GME or residency faculty experience
- Additional fellowship or advanced training
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills
- Family Medicine physicians with additional fellowship training are encouraged to apply
- Previous faculty experience is not required
- Physicians without GME faculty experience will receive on-the-job training and support in the foundational principles of graduate medical education
- Candidates must have a strong interest in teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents
