Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics to join their team. This role offers a full spectrum Family Medicine practice, including delivery of your own patients and on-call backup for family medicine deliveries. The position also provides opportunities to teach medical students and residents within a thriving, family-oriented community.

Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders
- Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
- Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
- Address return to work issues

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Ability to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Family Medicine by providing a case log that includes 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient care of children under the age of 18 (excluding normal newborn), as applicable to privileges being requested, in the last 12 months
