Family Medicine Physician

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join their team in Houston. • Located in Houston, with 45 locations throughout the city
• Multi-specialty clinic with 1000+ medical providers in 65 medical specialties
• Family Medicine physicians specialize in caring for the physical, mental and emotional well-being of their patients and their families
• Trained to care for all ages, from children age 5 to senior adults

Responsibilities

• See patients in an outpatient setting
• See new patients
• Perform corporate physicals
• Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group
• Answer phone calls from patients of physicians in the call group
• Conduct annual physicals and wellness exams
• Provide preventive medicine

Compensation

• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $237,500 - $384,000
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
• Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule

• Monday-Friday from 8a - 5p
• On-Call for the group is about once per month, either on the weekday or weekend day
• The weekend day call is shared with another physician

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD, DO)
• Accredited Family Medicine Residency training
• Licensed or willing to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with American Board of Family Medicine
