Sanford Health is seeking a BE/BC family practitioner to join their growing team at Sanford Clinic-32nd & Ellis in Sioux Falls, SD. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive family medicine in an outpatient-only setting, collaborating with seven other family physicians. - Free-standing family practice clinic located on the west side of Sioux Falls, SD
- Connected to Lewis Drug for pharmacy needs
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, female reproductive, and genitourinary systems
- Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
- Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
- Address return to work issues

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
