Family Medicine Physician

This locum tenens Family Practice MD opportunity is available at a correctional facility in Ohio for an initial duration of 3 months. The clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to an adult male patient population in a secure environment. Credentialing for this role is estimated at approximately 30 days.

Practice Info

• Correctional facility providing outpatient and clinic-based primary care services
• Adult male patient population
• Secure clinical environment
• Case load/PPD: 2.5 patients per hour

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive family medicine services to an adult male patient population in a correctional facility setting
• Conducting patient evaluations
• Managing chronic medical conditions
• Providing preventive healthcare services
• Treating acute illnesses
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation

Shift & Schedule

• Dates needed: ASAP - 3 months
• Day shift
• 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call required

Requirements

• Board eligibility or board certification
• Active state license
• DEA registration
• BLS certification
• Prescriptive authority required
