Sanford Health is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians to join a rapidly expanding practice in Devils Lake, ND. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive family medicine services within one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States. Physicians will contribute to a broad range of patient care, supported by on-site lab and imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions, and functional disorders
  • Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
  • Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
  • Address return to work issues

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
