Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join their established outpatient-only practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages within a large service area. The physician will be part of the Sanford Family, a dedicated team committed to health and healing.

Practice Info

  • Outpatient only practice
  • Large service area
  • Lab and radiology on site
  • Two clinics in Minot
  • Visiting specialties include Cardiology, General Surgery, OB/Gyn, Orthopedics, Podiatry and more

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit patients (if applicable to the setting)
  • Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of various body systems
  • Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
  • Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
  • Address return to work issues

Shift & Schedule

  • Office hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Requirements

  • BE/BC in Family Medicine
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
