Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join a successful, well-established group across nine clinics in Bismarck/Mandan. This full-time, outpatient-only role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no call, supported by full-time hospitalist coverage. Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders of circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, integumentary, nervous, female reproductive, and genitourinary systems
- Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
- Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
- Address return to work issues

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Ability to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Family Medicine by providing case log that includes 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient care of children under the age of 18 (excluding normal newborn), as applicable to privileges being requested, in the last 12 months
