Family Medicine Physician (Multiple Positions)

MedStar Medical Group II, LLC d/b/a MedStar Medical Group has multiple openings for the full-time position of Family Medicine Physician based at MedStar Health: Primary Care at Wilkens Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.

Job Duties

• Provide medical care and consultation to adult patients and children ages 12+
• Perform complete medical history and physical exam on patients
• Facilitate coordination and development of a comprehensive and individual plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and multidisciplinary team
• Order appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures
• Make referrals to specialist physicians
• Prepare written prescription orders, medications, and controlled substances under the rules and regulations of the State of Maryland as well as federal law
• Coordinate patient and family education with nursing staff, ancillary staff, and other resources
• Follow all established policies and requirements for maintenance and signing of medical records

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent
• Completion of 36 months of ABFM-recognized and ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
• Valid Maryland medical license
• Certification by American Board of Family Medicine

$163,051.00 - $245,000.00 / year
