Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join their busy outpatient clinic in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages, supported by a dedicated team and excellent community resources. Practice Info
- Full time busy clinic practice of 15-20 outpatients per weekday
- Practice is primarily outpatient
- Pediatric call rotation for the hospital at 1:5
- Several Sanford Family Medicine physicians
- Each Family Medicine Physician is assigned a nurse, office & 2 exam rooms
- Thief River Falls qualifies as a HPSA site
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders
- Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
- Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
- Address return to work issues
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $265,175 - $343,168
- Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
- Experience can be demonstrated by residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations (for recent graduates)
- Experience can be demonstrated by a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for applicants not directly out of residency)
- Ability to demonstrate active involvement in the clinical aspects of Family Medicine by providing a case log that includes 25 vaginal deliveries, 50 adult medical patients, and 10 inpatient care of children under the age of 18 (excluding normal newborn), as applicable to privileges being requested, in the last 12 months
