POSITION SUMMARY

As a Family Medicine Physician at Catalyst Physician Group, you'll be a vital part of our team, helping our communities thrive by providing direct patient care and supporting clinical operations. The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to all ages, managing both acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Care

n
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning for all ages.
n
• Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and complex multi-system conditions.
n
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, imaging, and specialty studies.
n
• Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education.
n
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and support staff.
n
• Document all patient encounters in the Athena electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
n

Quality & Compliance

n
• Adhere to evidence‑based guidelines and clinical best practices.
n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and performance metrics.
n
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and credentialing requirements.
n

Team Collaboration

n
• Work collaboratively with medical assistants, nurses, advanced practice providers, specialists, and administrative teams.
n
• Attend team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education sessions.
n
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and patient‑focused culture.
n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
n
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Family Medicine residency program.
n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
n
• Ability to navigate EMR and modern computer programs
n
• Active or pending unrestricted Texas state license
n
• Active or pending DEA certification.
n

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of practicing experience
n
• Experience with Athena EMR
n
