Family Medicine Physician

Overview

Primary Care Physician opportunity at Ascension St. Vincent's Primary Care-Nocatee in the Nocatee/Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville, FL area.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
• Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements. Appeal denials in a timely manner.
• Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine required prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
