Sanford Health is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine physicians to join their medical staff at Sanford Clinic Jackson. This role offers a broad scope family medicine practice, providing care in clinic, hospital, and the emergency department. Practice Info

  • Broad scope family medicine practice providing care in clinic, hospital, and emergency department
  • Clinicians consist of physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Shared nursing home responsibility on a monthly basis
  • Average patients/day in clinic is 15-18
  • Average inpatient census is 0-2
  • EMR is Epic

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting)
  • Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients of all ages with a wide variety of illness, diseases, injuries, mental health conditions and functional disorders
  • Provide pre-operative care of surgical patients
  • Provide post-operative medical care of surgical patients
  • Address return to work issues

Compensation

  • Nationally competitive compensation plan
  • Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $265,175 - $343,168 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Shift & Schedule

  • 1:4 weekend call; weekday call is varied
  • 4 day work week

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), as applicable
  • Must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training if not board certified at the time of application and completed residency within the last five years
