Family Medicine Physician

Ascension St. Vincent’s is looking for a board‑certified/board‑eligible Family Medicine physician to provide medical services at our Lake Asbury Primary Care clinic in Green Cove Springs, FL.

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday clinic at Ascension St. Vincent’s Lake Asbury Primary Care Clinic, Green Cove Springs, FL.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost‑effectiveness and quality of care.
• Accept patient referrals, act as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients, as needed.
• Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
• Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient specialty consultations, including on‑call schedules.

Requirements

• MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine, obtained prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
