Family Medicine Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join their fast-growing practice in Detroit Lakes, MN. The role involves practicing within a multispecialty group alongside a wide range of medical and surgical specialties and services. Providers will benefit from a robust compensation package, shared call schedules, and a supportive community environment.

Practice Info

• Multispecialty group practice including FM, IM, Dermatology, Audiology, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Surgery, Podiatry, Optometry, Psychology, Psychiatry and Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapy
• Service region of 55,000
• Outreach specialties include Allergy, Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Opthalmology, Pain Management, and Urology
• Local hospital employs 24-7 hospitalist service
• On-site pharmacy, walk-in clinic, lab, imaging and ambulatory surgical center

Responsibilities

• Cover pediatrics call
• Cover monthly nursing home/TCU rounds at local long term care facility

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation plan
• Compensation floor of $330,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details)
