Family Medicine - OB Physician

The University of Rochester is seeking Family Medicine-Obstetrics physicians to join their growing regional practice sites in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier regions of Upstate New York. Providers will engage in outpatient clinics, scheduled OR time, and regional call rotations alongside multidisciplinary colleagues. This role offers opportunities for direct patient care, resident and student education, and potential leadership advancement.

Practice Info

• Regional practice sites
• Practicing alongside FM-OB and OB/GYN physician colleagues, APPs, and CNMs
• Developing Rural Track FM-OB Residency partnership with UR Highland Family Medicine, UR Medicine Noyes Health, and Tri-County Family Medicine
• Affiliate location at UR Medicine Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY, expanding care in the western region of the county including Cuba
• Sole hospital and Women's Health provider in Allegany County

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic
• Scheduled OR time, if applicable (C-sections and GYN procedures)
• Participation in a call rotation with current FM-OB and OB/GYN physicians
• Direct patient care and Resident education at clinical sites in Dansville and surrounding communities
• Participation in a regional OB call rotation at Noyes with current FM-OB and OB/GYN providers
• Participation in an OB call rotation with current OBGYNs, FM-OBs, and CNMs at JMH
• Teaching with UR Medicine Maternal Child Health Fellows (Surgical and Non-Surgical trainees), as well as with medical students, NP/PA students, etc.

Compensation

• $220,000 - $260,000 a year
