The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Family Medicine team in Colchester, Vermont .

Schedule
- 0.75 FTE (30 hours/week)
- 24 hours of direct patient care with dedicated administrative time
- Daytime schedule, Monday through Friday
- Dedicated administrative time, with remote work opportunities available based on department needs
- Quarterly Saturday weekend clinic participation following orientation
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for patients across the lifespan
- Manage and grow your own patient panel within an established Family Medicine practice with strong physician and APP collaboration
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Deliver preventive care and wellness services
- Conduct in-person and telemedicine visits
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support exceptional patient outcomes

Experience
- Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or a related outpatient setting required
- Experience providing care across the lifespan required
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care in an academic medical center
Education & Licensure Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program
- Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active Vermont APRN license or eligibility for Vermont licensure
- Eligibility for NY licensure
- Eligibility for prescriptive authority
- Eligibility for DEA licensure
- Telemedicine opportunities are available. Providers must be eligible to obtain both Vermont and New York licensure to support virtual care for patients located in New York.
