Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join their dynamic team in Jackson, CA, as a Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician. The position combines faculty/teaching duties with clinical practice, offering flexibility and a chance to work closely with faculty from Sacramento and Davis.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and resident education
• Maintain active clinical skills and provide direct patient care to model appropriate practice for residents
• Teach, supervise, and evaluate residents using ACGME competency-based assessment frameworks
• Participate in curriculum development, resident assessment, and program evaluation, contributing to continuous program improvement

Compensation

• Core faculty rate: $171/hr (up to 0.7 FTE available)
• 2-year income guarantee with shareholder track
• Productivity bonus ($320,000+ earning potential in the first year)
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
• Relocation assistance up to $20,000
• Resident stipend up to $3,000 per month
• Forgivable loan up to $200,000
• PSLF eligible
• Salary range: $311,000 - $373,200 /Yr

Shift & Schedule

• 0.5-0.7 FTE Faculty/Teaching + 0.3–0.5 FTE Clinical (flexible and negotiable)

• BE/BC in Family Medicine - Required
