Family Medicine (OB Optional) – Central North Dakota
An established patient and family‑centered care team is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join a growing community in central North Dakota. This opportunity offers the chance to practice in a collaborative environment within a modern, easily accessible facility alongside an integrated team of medical specialists, advanced practice clinicians, and behavioral health professionals.
Practice Details
- Schedule: Full‑time, 1.0 FTE with 32 to 34 patient contact hours. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: Based entirely at a single facility with no outreach requirements.
- Scope of Practice: Includes OB services, with or without C‑section privileges (training can be provided if needed).
- Patient Volume: Averages 16 to 20 outpatients per day and 5 to 10 inpatients per day.
- Call Coverage: 1:13 rotation. Call consists of one week of inpatient service at a time, rotated equally among community physicians.
- Leadership Role: The physician serves as a leader of the care team, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff to achieve clinical objectives and ensure continuity of care.
Onsite & Outreach Services
- Onsite Specialties: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, General Surgery, Diabetes Education, Dietitian Services, Pathology/Laboratory, Radiology/Imaging, Physical Therapy, and Tobacco Cessation.
- Visiting Outreach Specialties: ENT, Oncology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Sports Medicine, and Non‑Surgical Weight Loss.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine.

- Regional Access: Located 90 minutes from multiple major regional hubs, three hours from Winnipeg, and four and a half hours from the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
- Community Profile: A growing city of approximately 16,000 residents situated in a scenic river valley. The area features safe neighborhoods, affordable housing, excellent school systems, a local four‑year university, and a municipal airport. Compensation
- Base Salary: $323,400.
- Additional Incentives: Hired candidates may be eligible for further compensation through quality incentives, bonuses, or production‑based structures.
