Family Medicine – Southeast North Dakota
A premier healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join an established, patient-centered care team in southeastern North Dakota. This individual will collaborate with another physician and 2-3 Nurse Practitioners to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a rewarding, community-focused environment.
Practice Specifics
- 1.0 FTE, full-time opportunity (36 patient contact hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Average Clinic Patients: 16-20 per day
- Call Coverage: Limited to phone call only (nursing home questions and after-hours critical lab call-backs); 1:4 rotation with local providers
- Electronic Medical Record: Epic
- On-site Services: Physical Therapy, Diabetes Education, Non-Surgical Weight Loss, Pathology/Lab, Radiology/Imaging, ultrasound, and mammogram
- Community Engagement: Contracted with the local public school system for Sports Medicine coverage and general health/well-being services
- Outreach Services: Mental/Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Orthopedic Medicine, General Surgery, and OB/GYN
- Inpatient Rounding: Optional; local hospital is located within a half-mile from the clinic, and nursing home rounds are included
- Role expectations: The physician will serve as a leader of a care team, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve clinical objectives and ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine

- Located approximately one hour west of a major regional metropolitan area

Compensation & Benefits
