You’ll take ownership of your cases, develop thoughtful legal strategies, advocate for your clients, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the legal process. Responsibilities: • What You’ll Do: As a Family Law Attorney, you will: • Manage family law matters from initial case strategy through trial and resolution • Develop and execute effective legal strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances, priorities, and goals • Serve as the primary legal advocate and trusted point of contact for your clients • Represent clients in mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings • Prepare clients, expert witnesses, and other parties for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents • Conduct legal research and apply the law strategically to complex family law matters • Negotiate effectively while protecting your clients’ interests • Communicate clearly and consistently with clients throughout their cases • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to keep cases organized and moving forward • Identify creative solutions to complex legal and client challenges • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, excellence, and client-focused advocacy Qualifications: • What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for an attorney who combines strong litigation skills with strategic thinking, resilience, and genuine compassion for clients. You’ll be a strong fit if you have: An active Texas law license and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas At least 3 years of hands-on family law experience Strong family law litigation and courtroom experience Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Confidence representing clients and advocating effectively in high-stakes situations Proficiency with legal technology, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Dropbox, and digital legal research platforms Strong organizational and time-management skills The ability to manage competing priorities and move cases forward efficiently A resilient, solutions-oriented mindset Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to think beyond conventional approaches A collaborative attitude and commitment to team success A strong work ethic and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of clients What Success Looks Like: Success in this role means more than winning cases.
