Fall Play Director

Co-curricular Category A, $2,500 - $4,000 based on experience.
Position Objectives
Conceptualizes production from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Envision artistic strategy and communicate it to support team members such as Lighting Designer, Set Builder, Producer, Costumer, and cast/crew.
- Manage the entire rehearsal process for the cast and coordinate all pieces through blocking, integrating the tech team into one coherent vision.
- Stage every moment of the show; no external collaborators for choreography or music direction.
Student Participation
Average 20-30 students per fall play.
Activity Schedule
Monday through Friday, outside the regular workday and weekends.
Time Commitment
- Prep-Work: 30 hours
- Weeks 1-7: 10 hours per week
- Week 8: 16 hours
- Week 9 (Show Week): 30 hours
- Total: ~136 hours
