Faculty Physician – Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist

Job Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences seek a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia and will also provide remote services.

Duties

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will also actively involve in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed an ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program and a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine fellowship program.
• Board‑certified/eligible in MFM by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

• Care and counseling before pregnancy begins (preconception care) for women who have increased medical, surgical, or genetic risks.
