Position Overview
Maternal‑Fetal Medicine Specialist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia and provide remote services.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with the Maternal‑Fetal Care Team, including nurses and allied health professionals, to develop customized treatment plans for high‑risk pregnancies.
- Offer pre‑conception counseling, integrated care for chronic conditions during pregnancy, and manage obstetric complications such as preterm labor, multiple gestation, and fetal growth disorders.
- Participate in academic research and contribute to clinical advancements at a leading academic medical center.
- Engage in educational activities with the WVU School of Medicine student and resident workforce.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for a West Virginia medical license.
- Completed an ACGME‑accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program and a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine fellowship program.
- Board certified or eligible in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
