Job Summary

Hazard Community & Technical College is seeking applicants for a Nursing Instructor - two available positions. This position will teach college level credit courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree Nursing programs.

Job Duties

• Deliver instruction, instructional activities, and prepare learning materials for courses each semester in accordance with approved curriculum.
• Use of technology and learning management systems to support instruction.
• Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, course assessments, early interventions, and class organization.
• Participate in professional development and college/department meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful candidate must possess: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least three years of experience working as a Nurse. Master's degree in Nursing preferred. Some teaching experience desired.
