The position involves work on Jefferson's Center City and East Falls campuses.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:The successful candidate will function as an integral member of the Jefferson Occupational Therapy Department faculty and an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator across Jefferson's Center City and East Falls campuses.Specific responsibilities include:Coordinate multiple ongoing projects and communicate effectively with community partners, entry-level program directors and facultyCollaborate with administrative staff across the OT department to ensure program compliance and ACOTE standards are met for all OT programsCollect and interpret data for fieldwork curriculum development across three OT programsAdvise students on developing skills needed for site specific learning objectivesEnsure students meet site health and onboarding requirements for fieldworkSchedule and confirm student placements across the departmentAdvise students and fieldwork educators related to experiential learningMaintaining a faculty-centric scholarship agendaEngaging in internal and external serviceQualifications:Applicant must:be an occupational therapisthave a master's degree or higherhave experience as an academic fieldwork coordinator or fieldwork educatorpossess excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsdemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsApplicant should demonstrate experience and skill in teaching, collaboration, and sustaining partnerships. Applicant should be open to novel and dynamic processes to support students through experiential learning.
Experience in innovative program development and serving the community is highly preferred.
