Factory Quality EngineerRaytheon is looking for an experienced Factory Quality Engineer to join the Effectors Operations Quality team in Tucson, AZ, supporting a fast-paced, multi-value stream factory. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter capable of driving quality requirements, manufacturing objectives, continuous improvement, and achieving results in a matrixed environment.You will support a manufacturing effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and dynamic environment where successful quality execution is a key contributor to overall success.The position is onsite in Tucson, AZ and on the 2nd shift. An 8% shift differential is offered on top of base salary.

Sign-on bonus available, provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements. We work a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).What You Will DoVerify product and process compliance with respect to contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and internal policiesDevelop strong working relationships with the touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMARegular data analysis; development and usage of actionable metrics. Generation and publication of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics.Facilitate and lead cross-functional team in failure analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, including identifying non-conformances, providing solutions, tracking issues to closure and leading Corrective Action Boards (CAB)Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non-conforming material and facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) when necessarySupport work instruction development and maintenance activities by reviewing work instructions, test instructions, auditing processes, and assuring configuration managementDevelopment and maintenance of inspection instructions, ensuring inspection instructions meet the technical data package requirements and meet production needsDevelopment and release of First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102Regularly interface with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and internal stakeholders to manage issuesConduct weekly meetings to help reduce cost of poor quality and facilitate timely red rack dispositionsQualifications You Must HaveRequires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with two years of relevant experienceRelevant experience is work in Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience with interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and/or manufacturing process experience in one of the following areas (assembly, inspection, and/or test)Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systemsThe ability to obtain and maintain an ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) clearance prior to the start date.Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S.

government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S.
