Facility WorkerBlack Hills State University seeks applicants for a Facility Worker position with the Department of Facilities Services. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, restrooms, and furniture in offices, institutional buildings, and living quarters to meet sanitary regulations and enhance the appearance of the buildings. Uses hand tools to perform general building maintenance. Works with a variety of chemicals. Uses ladders to clean windows and change lamps.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to read and writeFollow oral and written instructionsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeLift up to 50 poundsMust be self-directedExperience operating buffers and scrubbers is desiredComments: May work in residence halls, administration or classroom buildings.
