The ideal candidate will maintain our facility's infrastructure functionality, safety, and efficiency. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair facility-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve problems to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in managing the inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support facility-related needs and projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is a plus.
- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
