The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented leader with strong administrative, auditing, compliance, and communication skills.
Prior military enlisted or non-commissioned officer (NCO) experience is strongly preferred.This role is based in the LAX area and plays a critical part in maintaining cargo security operations, regulatory compliance, and operational accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all cargo screeners and cargo screening supervisors complete required initial and recurring TSA training requirementsMaintain training documentation and provide records to TSA officials upon requestConduct written and electronic assessments documenting cargo screening issues, incidents, corrective actions, and resolutionsReview cargo screening logs daily to verify accuracy and completeness of required documentationCompare cargo screening logs against airway bills to ensure all cargo has been properly screened and tenderedEnsure compliance with TSA regulations regarding continuous visual examination of X-ray imagesMonitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage of cargo screening activities during randomized review periodsConduct weekly internal audits and unannounced inspections of Designated Screening Areas (DSAs)Coordinate monthly audits with independent auditors and maintain compliance documentation and recordsConduct physical oversight of cargo screening operations during CCTV equipment outages or failuresSupport operational security, compliance initiatives, and continuous process improvement effortsPreferred Background & ExperiencePrior military enlisted or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) experience strongly preferredExperience in Quality Assurance, Safety Programs, Compliance, Auditing, or administrative oversight programs preferredBackground managing structured accountability programs such as 3M/3MC, maintenance administration, inspections, or compliance operations highly desirableStrong leadership, organizational, and administrative skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesInnovative problem-solving mindset with the ability to think independently and improve operational processesAbility to work in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining strict compliance standardsMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a background check and security screening requirementsStrong computer and documentation management skillsExperience maintaining records, logs, and compliance documentationProfessional demeanor and ability to interact with regulatory officials and operational leadershipCompensation & Benefits$30/hour base payOvertime opportunities available (estimated first-year earnings between $65,000–$70,000)Additional $500/month performance-based bonus potential12 paid holidaysAdditional PTO based on tenureFull benefits packageTravelNo travel requiredWhy This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to join a globally respected logistics organization that values integrity, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
